I’m Asantae, the heart behind Asantae Photography. My work is rooted in creating timeless, editorial wedding photography that blends the elegance of fine art with the authenticity of real moments.
I strive to capture imagery that feels both cinematic and deeply personal—photographs that remain just as alive and meaningful decades from now as they are today. Originally from Missouri, I made the move to San Diego in October of 2023, and it quickly became a place that feels like home. My love for photography began back in high school, and what started as a creative passion has grown into a full-time career.
With over six years of experience behind the camera, I’ve had the privilege of documenting countless stories of love, connection, and celebration. At 24, I’m proud to run a queer-owned business where all love and all people are welcomed and celebrated. Representation and inclusivity matter deeply to me, and I carry that intention into every wedding and session I photograph—creating a space where couples feel safe, seen, and truly themselves.
